1. Acceptance
By accessing or using TCI Now, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. What TCI Now provides
TCI Now is a discovery and community platform for finding places, businesses, events, offers, stories and timely community information across the Turks and Caicos Islands. TCI Now is generally not the provider of services offered by listed third-party businesses.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, safeguard your login credentials and accept responsibility for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully or contrary to these terms.
4. Listings and business claims
Business owners and representatives must provide accurate, current information and may be asked for evidence of authority. Verification indicates that a claim or specified information was reviewed; it is not a guarantee of quality, licensing, safety or performance.
5. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant TCI Now a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the platform. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions.
6. Acceptable use
You must not submit unlawful, threatening, deceptive, discriminatory, defamatory, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive or infringing material; impersonate others; manipulate reviews or engagement; introduce malware; scrape or disrupt the service; misuse location information; or promote illegal activity.
7. Moderation
TCI Now may review, approve, reject, limit, remove or preserve content and may restrict accounts. Moderation decisions may consider safety, relevance, authenticity, community standards and legal risk. We are not required to publish every submission.
8. Advertising and paid plans
Advertising, featured placement and partner plans may require separate pricing or agreement. Payment does not guarantee clicks, enquiries, sales, rankings or uninterrupted placement. Advertisers are responsible for claims, permissions and destination pages.
9. Offers, events and third parties
Businesses are responsible for their services, prices, availability, bookings, refunds, safety and legal compliance. Users should independently verify important details. TCI Now is not responsible for disputes between users and third parties unless expressly agreed in writing.
10. Maps, directions and timely information
Locations, routes, opening hours, events, Island Moments and alerts may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Do not rely on TCI Now for emergencies, navigation safety or official government information.
11. Intellectual property
TCI Now branding, software, design and original platform content are protected. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell or misuse them.
12. Availability and disclaimers
The platform is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or completely accurate service.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TCI Now and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, third-party services or user content. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
14. Indemnity
You agree to be responsible for losses and claims resulting from your unlawful use, your content, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Changes, termination and governing law
We may update these terms, change features or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend access for breach, risk or legal reasons. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Turks and Caicos Islands, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
